USA 1998

In August 1998, just after returning from the fantastic holliday trip to Lappland, I was invited for a month long stay in the Institute of Elementary Particle Physics of the California University at Santa Cruz. Year earlier, after completing similar visit, I went for a short hollidays to Hawaii. This time I decided for a crazy raid over the National Parks of the south-western USA. In only one week I made a loop more then 4000km long: from San Jose to the east across California, Nevada and Utah almost to the border of Colorado, and than to the south to Arizona and back west to Los Angeles.

During the five crucial days of my trip I was sleeping and eating in my car, but managed to see deserts of Nevada, canyons Bryce and Zion, famous Arches National Park, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley and many other not so well-known, but not less interesting miracles of american Nature. Please read the relation (currently only in Polish) and see the photos from my trip!
