Hawaii 1997
In autumn 1997 and summer 1998 I was invited for two month-long stays at University of California in Santa Cruz. Apart from working in the Institute of Elementary Particles of UCSC and several visit to SLAC collider in Stanford, I was travelling over US. During weekends I was renting cars and visiting interesting places mostly on Californian coast. After finishing "official" parts of both stays I went twice for week-long holidays - in 1997 I flew to Hawaii, in 1998 I made a trip over national parks of central California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
On this page I enclosed the relation from my trip to Hawaii in November 1997. I was there only for 8 days and managed to visit only two islands: Maui and Hawaii (Big Island) itself. Still, it was the most extraordinary of all my travels and the place to which I really want to come back in future.
