The Chair of Complex Systems Modeling comprises several research groups working in various fields of theoretical physics on the complex physical systems with many degrees of freedom. In such system, nonlinear interactions between many elements play a crucial role, giving rise to qualitatively new global properties or appearance of ordered structures. Besides the theoretical analysis, an important tool in tackling these problems are large-scale numerical simulations.
