Mont Blanc 1989-1999
In July 1999 I arranged visits to universities in Karlsruhe and Lyon to have a free week between them. I spent it in Chamonix, trying to climb the highest summit in Europe - Mont Blanc, 4809m. The excursion was fantastic, so I wrote a photo-relation from this trip and put it on the web. Looking into my slide archive, I decided that it is worthwhile to describe also my earlier attempts to reach the summit and show older photos from this area.
