Pi of the Sky

On this page I would like to describe some aspects of my work in the "Pi of the Sky" project. I have recently prepared two new criteria for the automatic quality estimation of the data collected by the "Pi" system. The "Pi of the Sky" project searches for gamma ray bursts, and every night CCD cameras observe the southern part of the sky. These cameras also look for novae stars and other astronomical events. During the year they collect millions of measures, but it is very important to distinguish between reliable and non-reliable measurements. Thus the necessity to prepare a general critera for the correctly estimating the quality of the data. More details can be found in the My work section.
