My research activities focus on the understanding of the physical properties of nanomaterials by means of theory and simulations, using a range of computational methods among others Density Functional Theory, Tight-Binding, Monte Carlo simulations. The current research is devoted to the prediction of various physicochemical properties of the novel 2D materials and van der Waals heterostructures.
