„Near-threshold production of light strange mesons in heavy-ion collisions”
prelegent: dr Krzysztof Piasecki (Wydział Fizyki UW)
Streszczenie: The emission of positive and negative kaons in heavy-ion collisions around the free nucleon-nucleon threshold is a fascinating interplay of production channels (often involving resonances and mesons), absorption, scattering, in-medium modifications of basic properties, and feeding from decays of heavier species. Spectra of kinematic variables, integrated yields of K and Phi mesons, Sigma*(1385) and other particles produced in the heavy-ion collisions at 1-2A GeV were measured by the FOPI collaboration and compared to the microscopic transport models like IQMD or HSD.
