„Beta decay at the dripline”
prelegent: prof. Karsten Riisager (Aarhus University, Dania)
Streszczenie: The low binding energies and large beta Q-values present at the neutron and proton driplines implies that beta decay there is dominated by beta-delayed particle emission. I shall give a brief general review of these decays and present details on two subjects: the question of decay mechanism when more than one particle is emitted, and the changes that occur in the decays of halo nuclei and other loosely bound systems.
