„Throwing triangles against the wall: ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions and shape of light nuclei”
prelegent: prof. dr hab. Wojciech Broniowski (UJK Kielce i IFJ PAN)
Streszczenie: I will show how harmonic flow measured in ultrarelativistic light-heavy ion collisions can be used to probe the geometric structure of light nuclei, such as in alpha-clustered 12C or 3He. The method provides a surprising link between the highest-energy nuclear collisions and the lowest-energy phenomena determining the ground-state nuclear structure.
