Venue and Travel
The meeting will be held in the Architect's House (Dom Architekta) in
Kazimierz.
Kazimierz is a small and picturesque town 120 km south of
Warsaw.
The first session will start on Saturday (May 25) at 9:00, the last session
will end on Wednesday (May 29) at 18:00. The hotels in Kazimierz are
reserved from May 24 afternoon till May 30 morning. Breakfast will be
served at the hotels, lunch and dinner at the Architect House.
There will be special buses from the Warsaw International Airport to
Kazimierz on Friday (May 24) at 17:00 and 19:30. The organisers will be
present in the Arrival Hall half an hour before departure. The first bus
will stop at the Institute at Hoza 69 at 17:30, the second one - at 19:45.
The buses from Kazimierz to Warsaw will depart on Thursday (May 30) at
8:15 (we shall arrive at the Warsaw International Airport at 11:15).

If you come one day earlier or stay one day longer we can reserve
a single room (cost: equivalence in zlotys of 40 US$/day) for you in the
University Hotel HERA in Warsaw (Belwederska 26/30). If you prefer a more comfortable
hotel you can make reservation by Internet
in other hotels.
If you come earlier on Friday you can leave your
luggage at the reception of the Institute of
Physics at Hoza 69. The first bus to Kazimierz will stop at the Institute of Physics
(Hoza 69) at 17:30, the second one - at 19:45.
You can also reach Kazimierz by Polski Express Bus from the Warsaw Airport to Pulawy
(Pulawy Bus Station - direction Lublin) or by train from the Warsaw Central Railway Station
to Pulawy (station Pulawy Miasto - direction Lublin) and next by taxi or a town bus
no. 12 from Pulawy to Kazimierz (14 km - you can buy a ticket at the driver or
in newspaper kiosks).
There are town buses no. 175 (ticket: 2.40 zloty) from the Warsaw
International Airport to the Warsaw Central Railway Station (10 km).
Bus tickets should be bought in newspaper kiosks and validated after
entering the bus. The taxi price depends on the company (at least
1.60 zloty/km).
Exchange rate of April 2002: 1 US$ = 4.1 zloty.
